Where is Lucas Oil Speedway?

Lucas Oil Speedway is located on HWY 54 in Wheatland, Missouri just 15 miles East of HWY 13 and 11 miles west of HWY 65. Near beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake and just 25 quick minutes to Bolivar, Missouri and only 45 minutes to the Lake of the Ozarks. Click here for map and driving directions.

How big is Lucas Oil Speedway?

Lucas Oil Speedway is a multi-sport racing facility. It includes a 3/8th mile semi-banked oval dirt track, the country's only purpose-built drag boat lake, a brand new off road track, as well as a slick track for go-karts and special events. Grandstand and VIP suite seating totals nearly 8,000 at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.

Can I camp at Lucas Oil Speedway?

YES! Lucas Oil Speedway and Lake Lucas boast 40 acres of rolling campgrounds. Both wooded and open air spots are abundant. An onsite shower house, water and electric hookups, fishing ponds and hiking trails are all enclosed in the scenic campground. Water and Electric spots are limited and can be reserved in advance by calling 417-282-5984.

Does Lucas Oil Speedway have a drag strip?

No. A Drag Strip is in the plans for Lucas Oil Speedway, but no formal deadline or completion date is planned. An announcement with information will be released as plans evolve.

What is Lake Lucas?

Lake Lucas is a 4,000 foot long, 400 foot wide, 8 foot deep purpose-built drag boat racing lake. Opened in 2011 at Lucas Oil Speedway, Lake Lucas is like no other racing facility in the world!

How fast do the boats go on Lake Lucas?

Drag Boats vary in speeds, maxing out at over 250 miles per hour in the Top Fuel Hydro division.

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets for each race event are available at the ticket office on race day beginning at 5pm. Special event tickets may also be purchased online through Stubwire https://www.stubwire.com/venue/lucasoilspeedway/wheatland/3667/.

How much is parking?

FREE! There is never a fee to park at Lucas Oil Speedway or Lake Lucas.

How can I purchase a family pass?

Family Passes are available at the ticket office, A Family Pass includes admission for (2) Adults and up to (2) children ages 6-12, a 10% discount in the Track Treasures Gift Shop.

What time do the gates open?

Gate times vary with events on Lake Lucas, the new Off Road Track and the Diamond of Dirt Tracks. Check our Event Schedule for complete details.

How can I get reserved seating?

Reserved seats are available by purchasing a Season Pass for the entire race season, or by purchasing tickets online for select special events like the Show-Me 100. The televised race attracts capacity crowds each year.

How do I rent a VIP Suite?

VIP Suites are available for groups or private parties. Please contact Nichole McMillan at 417-282-5984 or by email for information on annual and nightly suite rental.

How much is a Season Pass?

A Season Pass is a great way to guarantee your spot every week at Lucas Oil Speedway. They also make fabulous gifts for the race fans in your life! Please check the Ticket Info page for Season Pass pricing. Season passes are available at the ticket office.

Can I go into the Pit Area?

Yes, although the pit area is restricted to those who have purchased a pit pass. Pit passes are available for each race event. Prices vary depending on event. All guests who purchase a pit pass are required to sign a waiver before entering.

Can I bring an ATV or Golf Cart

Can I bring my own ATV or Golf Cart?
Yes. Please review the ATV and Golf Cart Rules & Regulations for important safety information.
ALL spectators and campers that utilize a Golf Cart/ATV or similar vehicle on the Lucas Oil Speedway grounds will need to register the vehicle and purchase a $50 Annual Cart/ATV Pass at the Camp Shack.
Also, in the interest of safety and to reduce traffic in the pits during special events you will also need a specific event Golf Cart/ATV pass for each event to PASS THROUGH THE PIT GATE to access the other areas of the facility.

Can I bring my own cooler?

No. Lucas Oil Speedway is proud to have some of the best tasting food in all of Dirt Track racing at reasonable rates, no need to bring your own. We also have fabulous vendors inside to provide extra special treats.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed with the exception of Assistance Animals clearly marked and certified.

What kind of cars race at Lucas Oil Speedway?

We race them ALL! Weekly Racing action on our Dirt Track includes four classes: Late Models, USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods and USRA Stock Cars. Special events include: Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, ASCS Sprints (winged and non-winged), POWRi Midgets, [Monster Trucks and USMTS Modifieds. We also race Drag Boats on Lake Lucas and Off Road on our new Off Road Track.
