Roll Call: Lucas Oil Speedway weekly drivers invited to post photo for chance to win pit pass

WHEATLAND, MO. (March 13, 2024) - With Lucas Oil Speedway's first of two Open Test & Tunes coming up on Saturday, it's time for the annual "Roll Call" for those planning to race in the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series this season.

Drivers are invited to post a photo of their car - in the comments section on the same “roll call” post as this story - on the Lucas Oil Speedway Facebook page. Not only will it be a fun way to look ahead to the new season, it’s a chance to win one free season crew pass in each of the weekly divisions.

Drivers should post a photo of their car, plus their name and division in which they are competing. The photo receiving the most “likes” in the Hermitage Lumber POWRi Late Models, Arctic Food Equipment USRA Modifieds, Clear Creek Golf Cars USRA B-Mods and O’Reilly Auto Parts USRA Stock Cars will earn that driver the free crew pass for the upcoming season.

The contest will conclude on Friday, March 29th - day before the second and final scheduled Test and Tune session.

“We've done this the last couple of years and it was a lot of fun," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. “It's a chance for the drivers to show off their cars and for the fans to get an idea of who’s coming to race with us in the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series - and also gives the drivers a chance to win the crew pass."

The Big Adventure Weekly Racing Series Weekly Opener kicks off the season on April 20th with all four division in action. The season-openng 3rd annual Easter Bowl Enduro 150 is set for April 6. Hermitage Lumber POWRi Late Models plus POWRi Midwest Mods and POWRi Pure Stocks will be in action.

Driver information needed: Drivers planning on racing at at Lucas Oil Speedway this season are encouraged by keep their MyRacePass profile up to date. Meanwhile, track announcer Shane Friebe is asking for them to also fill out a driver information form online. There will be a number of nights on both Flo Racing and MAV-TV broadcasts and the more information about each driver, the better.

Legends added to April 12th portion of MLRA Spring Nationals: The 11th annual MLRA Spring Nationals are set for April 12-13. Legend cars have been added to the program on the first night to join the MLRA, Show-Me Vintage Racers and POWRi Super Stocks. Classes for night two will be MLRA, SMVR and POWRi Super Stocks.

Test and Tunes: Due to popular demand, Lucas Oil Speedway has added an Open Test and Tune session for this Saturday, from 2-4 p.m. The pit office will open at noon for this Saturday's Test and Tune with pit passes $30.
