SRX driver lineup continues to grow for Lucas Oil Speedway event with addition of three open-wheel stars

WHEATLAND, MO. (Feb. 28, 2023) - The driver roster for the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) event at Lucas Oil Speedway has grown to 11 with three more stars announced on Tuesday.

Marco Andretti, the reigning SRX Champion,
will defend his title, racing full-time this summer by participating in all six events, including the Aug. 17 race at Lucas Oil Speedway. The IndyCar legend will be joined as full-time SRX competitors by fellow IndyCar star and SRX veteran Paul Tracy along with IndyCar Series and Indy 500 champion Ryan Hunter-Reay who is back with SRX full-time after making his debut last summer.

Andretti, Tracy and Hunter-Reay join previously announced all-stars racing at Lucas Oil Speedway - Hailie Deegan, Brad Keselowski, Bobby Labonte, Ryan Newman, Helio Castroneves, Clint Bowyer, Kenny Wallace and Tony Stewart.

SRX will air on six consecutive Thursday nights at 8 p.m. CST on ESPN and the ESPN App, bringing back the iconic "ESPN Thursdays Night Thunder" brand.

July 13 - Stafford Motor Speedway (Stafford Springs, Connecticut)
July 20 - Thunder Road Speedway (Barre, Vermont)
July 27 - Motor Mile Speedway (Radford, Virginia)
Aug. 3 - Berlin Raceway (Grand Rapids, Michigan)
Aug. 10 - Eldora Speedway (New Weston, Ohio)
Aug. 17 - Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri)

SRX tickets on sale: General admission tickets for the SRX race at Lucas Oil Speedway remain on sale. They are $35 in advance and $40 at the gate (ages 16 and over). Kids (ages 6-15) will be $20 with ages 5-and-under free. Pit passes will only be available the day of event and will be $50.

Season openers nearing: Lucas Oil Speedway's schedule begins with an open Test and Tune set for March 18 from 2-6 p.m.. The Big Adventure Weekly Racing Series Weekly Opener kicks off the season on March 25. Classes in action include the Hermitage Lumber Late Models, Cedar Creek Beef Jerky USRA Modifieds, O'Reilly Auto Parts USRA Stock Cars, and the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods. The Hermitage Lumber Late Models will be running a special 25-lap $1,000-to-win featured event.
