Super Modified Tractors-Presented by Big River Steel Headlines Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- The final event on the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour for 2020 will take place Friday and Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway with the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Nationals making their annual appearance.

The ground-pounding Super Modified Tractors-Presented by Big River Steel will headline the event with several other classes competing over the two-day national event. The Super Modified Tractor division’s goal is to get four Hemi’s, three Turbines or Allison Aircraft Engines to sing in harmony putting over 10,000 horsepower to the ground trying to make a full pull.

Big River Steel is the presenting sponsor of the Super Modified Tractor Division. At Big River Steel their motto is “GO BIG” and with their sponsorship of the Super Modified Tractor Division “GO BIG” fits this class. Big River Steel will pay out a cash bonus to the Super Modified Tractor point champion following the final event at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Ricky Long from Glasgow, Kentucky, and Grayson Shelton of New London, North Carolina, are in a tight points battle in this class and the championship will be decided at this event.

Big River Steel, the world’s first Flex-Mill, is a steel mini mill focused on the production of a wide product spectrum, including advanced automotive steels and electrical steels. Since operations began in early 2017, Big River Steel has provided steel products to over 225 customers in the automotive, energy, construction and agricultural industries.

“We are thrilled to have Big River Steel as the presenting sponsor of the Super Modified Tractor division in 2020,” said Wayne Castleberry, Corporate Motorsports Sales and Marketing for Lucas Oil Motorsports. “They are an innovative company with over 500 company employees that are passionate about tractor pulling and support all of Lucas Oil Motorsports across the board. We look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come.”

The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Nationals take place on the infield in front of the main grandstand, transforming the facility into a pulling area for the powerhouse
machines.

Other classes that will be competing include, Limited Pro Stock Tractors, Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks, Pro Modified 4WD Trucks, Pro Stock Tractors, Super Farm Tractors, Super Modified 2WD Trucks and Unlimited Super Stock Tractors.

Gates open at 4 p.m. both days with pulling set to begin at 7 p.m. For fans that cannot attend, both bays events will air LIVE on www.LucasOilRacing.TV.
