Lucas Oil Speedway Modified drivers reminded to get USRA licenses at MyRacePass

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- Drivers in the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mod and Pitts Homes USRA Modified divisions at Lucas Oil Speedway are reminded that they need to purchase their USRA licenses in advance of the 2020 season through MyRacePass or directly from the USRA.

Tracks no longer will be required to sell full USRA licenses. To help insure this process goes smoothly, the USRA asks that drivers purchase at on MyRacePass at https://www.myracepass.com/sanctions/1003/registrations/2347

There will be a late fee of $20 per license if purchased after Feb. 29. Also, the first 300 drivers that purchase licenses will receive a $50 certificate from Summit Racing Equipment. Licenses can also be bought over the phone at 515-832-6000.

"This info is just for our Modifieds and B-Mod drivers," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. "But all our classes will still have to register with the track on our MyRacePass page and (Warsaw Auto Marine & RV) ULMA Late Model drivers will have to purchase a ULMA licenses from ULMA."

Lucas Oil Speedway Pit Office Manager Amber Hoelscher said registration on MyRacePass will make for easier check-in upon arrival each week. Drivers will be asked to update their bio and their sponsors, making it easier for the track announcers, fans and even family members to follow driver statistics throughout the season.

New drivers to Lucas Oil Speedway also will have a few forms, such as medical and W-9, that they will have to complete upon signing in at the track if they have never raced at the speedway before.

Drivers in all the Lucas Oil Speedway classes should go to the MyRacePass link to register. The $30 track registration fee can be mailed in, upon completing their registration online or they can pay the registration fee in the pit office when they attend their first event of the season.

The Lucas Oil Speedway season kicks off with the open test and tune on March 28, with the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series opening night set for April 4.

Season passes for 2020, along with gift cards which can be redeemed in any department of the speedway, are now available. Contact Admissions Director Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or email her at nichole@lucasoilspeedway.com for more information.
