Inside Line Promotions – LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Sept. 17, 2019) – Last Saturday was a learning night for Robbie Price, who was unable to qualify for the feature during the 12th annual Ralph Henson Memorial at I-30 Speedway.

Price began the night by starting on the outside of the front row in a heat race. However, a sixth-place result relegated him to a B Main and an eighth-place finish in that race missed a transfer into the ASCS Mid-South Region and ASCS Sooner Region main event.

“I’ve always struggled at I-30 and I was trying to learn a few things and really just missed completely in the heat,” he said. “I tried to get into a transfer spot before the rubber came in during the B Main. I was driving aggressively to get there and I got out of shape. It’s just one of those things that happens.”

Price is looking to rebound as he returns to Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour action when the series heads to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., this Thursday through Saturday for three nights of racing during the Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial.

Highlighted by a $10,000-to-win Saturday night finale, the event also provides two full nights of preliminary action and serves as one of the biggest races of the season for the 360 sprint car division.

In a rookie season that has seen many ups and downs, it will be Price’s first career visit to the oval known as ‘The Diamond of Dirt Tracks.’

“It’s a new place for me, but I’m optimistic heading into it,” he said. “We’ve won some races and had some rough nights as well, but I think every time we hit the track we are learning. I’d like to put it into the show all three nights and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
