ULMA Late Models headline Lucas Oil Speedway's Weekly Racing Series program on Saturday

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- Action resumes on Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway with the Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models in the spotlight, plus a double features for the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods.

Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper Bottling Company along with OnMedia/DISH/DirecTV team up to present Round 5 of the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series. All four divisions will be in action with gates opening at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:05.

The ULMA Late Models will run a special 25-lap feature, paying $1,000-to-win courtesy of HICKAMO Country Store in Wheatland. The points race in the division finds Aaron Marrant of Richmond just seven points ahead of Willard's Kaeden Cornell and 25 in front of two-time defending champion Johnny Fennewald of Appleton City.

Cornell picked up his first feature win of the season last week with Marrant in second. Fennewald has two victories in 2019, but took a points hit last time out with an eighth-place finish.

Kicking off the action on Saturday will be the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mod feature that was postponed due to rain at the conclusion of last week's program. The B-Mods will roll off with the lineup set to take the green last Saturday, with Kris Jackson and Andy Bryant on the front row. The class will run heats for the regular feature later in the evening. JC Morton of Springfield will begin action eight points ahead of Jackson.

Chase Domer of Nevada has moved into the lead of the Pitts Homes USRA Modified points chase, 23 in front of fellow Nevada driver Jon Sheets with Paden Phillips in third, 29 behind Domer.

In the O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Stocks division, Toby Ott of Wheatland has expanded his lead to 34 over James Flood of Crane. Last week's feature winner Aaron Poe is third, 42 behind Ott.

Also this week on the midway, the Greater Ozark Mustang Car Club will be on hand, displaying their array of cars.

Show-Me 100 nearing: Fans are reminded that the 27th annual Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtecttheHarvest.com is just one week away.
