To commemorate Mother's Day, all moms will be admitted FREE, courtesy of NMI/VMG Marketing Group. Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:05.
"Thanks to NMI/VMG Marketing Group, we're proud to welcome all the Mothers out there for a free night at the speedway," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. "We're coming off a terrific weekend of racing at the Open Wheel Showdown and look forward to resuming what's been an outstanding season in our four weekly classes so far."
In the headline division this week, Jon Sheets will look to extend an eight-point lead over fellow Nevada, Missouri driver Chase Domer in the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds. Robbie Reed of Mexico, Missouri sits in third just 17 behind Sheets after those two battled back and forth for the feature win on April 27, with Sheets prevailing.
Defending Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mod track champion JC Morton of Springfield clings to an eight-point lead over reigning USRA B-Mod National Champion Kris Jackson of Lebanon. Andy Bryant of Fort Scott, Kansas is third, 40 points behind Morton.
The same trio who finished at the top a year ago again lead the way in the Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Model points. Aaron Marrant of Richmond is six points ahead of Appleton City's Johnny Fennewald and 12 clear of Willard's Kaeden Cornell.
Toby Ott of Wheatland sits atop the O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Stocks division, by just three points over James Flood of Crane. Bob Barnett of Republic is third, 28 behind Ott.
