But it's always a big day when reserved tickets for the Show-Me 100, either for individual days or in a three-day pass, become available. And that time is almost here, said Admissions Director Nichole McMillan.
"We always have a rush on orders," McMillan said. "It's getting down to crunch time for those fans who want those same seat locations for the Show-Me 100 they had a year ago. If they haven't renewed and plan to do so, time is running short. Starting Friday, those tickets are released to the general public.
"So please, if you want to renew your Show-Me 100 seat locations make sure you do so in the next few days by giving me a call at (417) 282-5984."
The three-day passes are $100 and offer the comfort of the high-back, stadium-style seats and prime viewing on the top few rows of the front straightaway.
The 27th annual Show-Me 100 weekend, May 23-25, features the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA, plus USRA Modifieds. Action kicks off on May 23 with the "Cowboy Classic" headlining the program, with a $6,000-to-win, $600-to-start main event which also enables drivers to earn valuable points toward starting position into the night-night main event.
The "Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson" on May 24 also will see a $6,000-to-win feature with more points earned for the starting lineup the next night. Full USRA Modified programs also are scheduled each night.
The May 25 program includes B Mains, the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge and the 100-lap, $30,000-to-win main event along with a $1,200-to-win USRA Modified feature.
