Rod End Supply joins Lucas Oil Speedway
By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- Rod End Supply, a long-time leader in high-performance parts for various forms of motorsports as well as industrial machinery, has signed a three-year agreement as a Lucas Oil Speedway sponsor.
"We're excited to have Rod End Supply joining us. I think it's going to be a great fit as Bob Douglas not only has a proven and high-quality company, but he's a true racing enthusiast," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said.
Rod End Supply will have signage across each form of competition at Lucas Oil Speedway with visibility at the dirt track, off road track and the drag boat facility.
Douglas, the owner and president of Rod End Supply, said Lucas Oil Speedway and Lucas Oil are two brands that "are known throughout the United States."
"It's a very good organization and they put on high-quality races as well as the oil product itself and we want to be involved with them," Douglas said. "It should be a very good partnership."
Part of the sponsorship includes contingency awards throughout the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series season. The certificates consist of a $30 off of a $100 order from all products in the Rod Ends Supply catalog for all heat races for all classes as well as feature winners for all events. The company also will provide additional cash point fund awards for each weekly class champion at the awards banquet (Street Stocks and B-Mods $250 each, USRA Mods $500 and ULMA Late Models $1,000) plus banners to the champions.
Based in Olathe, Kansas, Rod End Supply prides itself on having the unique opportunity to be involved with all sorts of industrial, farming and high performance related industries including auto racing.
Whether it's a go-kart, micro, mini-sprint, midget, modified, late model, sprint or a tractor, Rod End Supply has the assortment of rod ends, radius rods and specialty products that will help lead the field in performing at your maximum potential.
One of its business mottos is "we don't just sell 'em, we race 'em."
"Our product not only lends itself to racing, but we do a lot in the street rod industry, off road and drag racing," Douglas said. "We're involved in a lot of different things, plus we're involved in a lot of industrial applications as well. It should be a very good avenue for us to do some advertising."
Douglas described himself as a racing enthusiast since the age of five.
"I started to races when I was five and I'll turn 71 in July," Douglas said. "I also run a group of race cars up here in the Kansas City area and I have a race car myself. Our cars are called Lightning Sprints. These cars are the same size as a Midget, but we run a wing and a 1,000-cc motorcycle engine and a chain drive."
Since 1989, Rod End Supply has provided superior products priced competitively, with prompt and courteous service. Visit RodEndSupply.com for more information about the company.
