Deadline to renew Show-Me 100 reserved seats nears with general public sale starting February 1

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- It's time to start thinking about tickets for one of dirt-track racing's crown-jewel events, the 26th annual Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtecttheHarvest.com May 24-26 at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Fans who purchased three-day passes for stadium-style reserved seats at last year's Show-Me 100 have until Jan. 31 to renew those seats. Beginning on Feb. 1, three-day reserved seats and general admission tickets to the Show-Me 100 - plus other events during the 2018 season - will go on sale.

"We just want to make those fans who purchased reserved seats last year aware of the deadline, if they want those same seats again," Lucas Oil Speedway admissions director Nichole McMillan said. "We expect a rush on tickets once they become available to the general public, so please contact us before the end of January if you want to renew."

The three-day passes are $100 and offer the comfort of the high-back, stadium-style seats and prime viewing on the top few rows of the front straightaway. Fans can contact the speedway office at (417) 282-5984 or contact McMillan via email at Nichole@LucasOilSpeedway.com.

The 26th annual Show-Me 100 weekend features the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA, plus USRA Modifieds. Action kicks off on May 24 with the "Cowboy Classic" headlining the program, with a $6,000-to-win, $600-to-start main event which also enables drivers to earn valuable points toward starting position into the night-night main event.

The "Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson" on May 25 also will see a $6,000-to-win feature with more points earned for the starting lineup the next night. Full USRA Modified programs also are scheduled each night.

The May 26 program includes B Mains, the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge and the 100-lap, $30,000-to-win main event along with a $1,200-to-win USRA Modified feature.

The daily ticket breakdown for Show-Me 100 weekend:

Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Illinois, came from a 14th starting position to win his first Show-Me 100 last year. Pierce, 21, recently announced that he will follow the full Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2018 while driving the Dunn-Benson Motorsports car.

Fans also can still purchase season passes for all events on the dirt track in 2018 - including the Show-Me 100 - and an all-events pass that includes drag-boat races and on the off-road track. Contact McMillan at (417) 282-5984 for more information.
