Lucas Oil Speedway 2018 season passes, gift cards on sale
By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- With Christmas quickly approaching, the search for that perfect gift for the race fan on your shopping list leads directly to Lucas Oil Speedway.
Season passes for the 2018 season are available now and those who had them in 2017 can renew at a $25 discount through the end of the year. Contact Admissions Director Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or email her at Nichole@lucasoilspeedway.com to purchase a pass or get more information.
"If you're looking for something special for that race fan in your family or friend who loves racing, give them the gift that lasts all year long - that season pass to Lucas Oil Speedway," McMillan said. "You can purchase them for all events at Lucas Oil Speedway or just for the dirt track. Either way, it's a great value for the race fan."
McMillan said that gift cards also are available, for the first time, in any dollar amount. They can be redeemed in any department at the speedway.
Season passes for the dirt-track events - 13 weekly racing programs plus 21 nights of special events - are $450 (ages 16-61) and $350 for seniors (62 and up). The special events include The Lucas Oil MLRA and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series including the three-night Show-Me 100 and Diamond Nationals, ASCS/POWRi events, USMTS, Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Nationals and Monster Trucks.
Each season pass holder is entitled to one reserved stadium-style seat, complete with high backs and armrests located in the top six rows of the main grandstand.
A second option is an all-events pass, at $550 for adults (16-61) and $450 for seniors (62 and over). In addition to the dirt-track events, that includes both races on Lake Lucas - the 7th annual John Haas Memorial Drag Boat Classic June 8-9 and the 8th annual Diamond Drag Boat Nationals Aug. 31-Sept. 2 - plus the second annual Off Road Shootout on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series June 22-24 plus other events on the off road track.
"When you add up all the events, it really is a great deal," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said of the season-pass options. "Along with the value, it assures you a reserved seat for all the big events that attract large crowds. It really is a great Christmas-gift option to consider."
The 2017 season begins with the weekly racing series opener on April 7, followed by the 5th annual Lucas Oil MLRA Spring Nationals on April 13-14.
