Persistence pays off!

Kaden Taylor captured his first career sprint car victory while competing at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas. Taylor, who is paralyzed and uses hand controls to race his winged sprint car, raced his EAGLE to victory in a special moment for many reasons. After 10 years in the making, this role model, proved that where there is will – there is a way.

Holding the broom high as he climbed atop the cage of his Daum Motorsports EAGLE, Logan Seavey made it a perfect weekend with the POWRi War Sprints to win the 7th annual Hockett/McMillin Memorial at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Taking off from the right of the front row, Seavey jumped to the lead at the wave of the green flag. Crowding to the bottom line, the opening laps yielded several cautions with the race finally at pace for slower traffic to come into play. With a comfortable straightaway advantage Seavey picked through the back markers. Seavey was unchallenged for win number three and a sweep of the weekend.

Korey Weyant wrapped up a championship season with the POWRi WAR Sprint League last weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Springfield, Illinois driver qualified for all three feature events over the weekend against a 60-car field to clinch his first title with the league in his EAGLE car. Weyant racked up an impressive list of stats during the 2017 season including 5 wins, 11 top 5's, 13 top 10's, and he qualified for all 20 feature events on the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints schedule. He extended his lead on the all-time win list to 12 total WAR wins.

Jeremy Schultz wasn’t going to let the season get away from him without a win. He maneuvered his EAGLE car to the front at Arlington Raceway and earned that elusive win to carry momentum into the off season.
