"These trucks and tractors are impressive and always a fan favorite," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said of the Lucas Pro Pulling League, with different classes set to compete on Friday and Saturday night.

Friday will find the ARP Light Weight Super Stock Tractors, ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks, Limited Pro Diesel Trucks and Limited Pro Stock Tractors.

Then on Saturday night it's the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions' Tour. Classes in action will include the E3 Sparkplugs Super Modified Tractors, MAVTV Unlimited Super Stock Tractors, Super Farm Tractors, Optima Batteries Super Modified 2WD Trucks , Pro Modified 4 WD Trucks and Protect the Harvest Pro Stock Tractors.

Big events on the horizon: Meanwhile, a major open-wheel event - the 7th annual ASCS Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial - is just over a week away. Set for Sept. 21-23, the ASCS Winged Sprint Cars and WAR Sprint Cars will be featured.

A top prize of $10,000 will be on the line for the final-night ASCS feature winner. Last year, 68 drivers from 14 states entered the ASCS event with Wayne Johnson winning a thriller over Sammy Swindell.

Wrapping up the month will be the first Lucas Oil Speedway USA Pro-Am Motocross on the Off Road track, Sept. 30-31 and Oct. 1.

Coming up on Oct. 6-7 will be the 4th annual MLRA Fall Nationals and Street Stock Big Buck 50. The Late Models not only will crown the MLRA season champion that weekend, but will chase a $5,000-to-win 50-lap feature on Oct. 7. The Street Stock drivers also will go 50 laps for $5,000-to-win on Oct. 7, with the winner also earning a free spot in the Whitetail Trophy Hunt valued at $3,000.

The Monster Truck Nationals wrap up the Lucas Oil Speedway season with the big "Eve of Destruction" show on Oct. 21.

"While the season is starting to wind down, it's far from over," Robinson said. "There a lot of different forms of action over the next several weeks and we look forward to seeing our fans, starting with this weekend's Pro Pulling event."
