Less than one month to 25th Show-Me 100

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- The biggest dirt-track racing weekend of the season at Lucas Oil Speedway is only four weeks away and that means time is running out on getting the best seats in the house.

A limited number of three-day passes for the 25th annual Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtecttheHarvest.com, May 25-27, remain on sale at $95.

"It's hard to believe that Show-Me 100 race weekend is less than 30 days away," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. "The opportunity to assure a chair-back, reserved seat for all three days really is the best deal going, but time is running out."

Fans interested in purchasing a three-day pass should contact admissions director Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or via email nichole@LucasOilSpeedway.com - or stop by the speedway office Monday-through-Friday during business hours.

"People can also purchase general admission tickets online in advance," McMillan said. However, she added that reserved stadium-style seats for single days of the weekend cannot be purchased until the day of the respective show.

"So the three-day pass eliminates any doubt about having a great seat," McMillan said.

Complete programs for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series/Lucas MLRA Late Models are scheduled each of the three days. The "Cowboy Classic Presented by Hotrod Processing" headlines opening night on May 25, with the $6,000-to-win feature honoring the late MLRA owner/promoter Allen "Cowboy" Chancellor. On May 26, it's the "Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson" honoring the long-time West Plains Motor Speedway owners who started the Show-Me 100, also paying $6,000 to win.

Action concludes on May 27 with the $30,000-to-win Show-Me 100, following the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge.

Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will be running full programs each night as well.

The daily ticket breakdown for Show-Me 100 weekend:

May 25 and 26: $25 adults, $22 seniors (62 and over) and military, $10 youth (ages 6-15), FREE 5-and-under. Family pass $50 and pit pass $35 (three-day pit pass is $100). Three-day reserved seat is $95.

May 27: $30 adults, $27 seniors (62 and over) and military, $10 youth (ages 6-15), FREE 5-and-under. Family pass $60 and pit pass $40 (three-day pit pass is $100). Three-day reserved seat $95.

Those interested is any of the ticket options can call McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or stop by the speedway office during business hours, Monday-through-Friday. Fans also can get ticket info online info, including specifics on the family pass, at http://www.LucasOilSpeedway.com/tickets.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available.
