WAR STATS COMPILED AND CASH BONUSES ADDED

Indianapolis, IN - The BOSS Chassis WAR Sprint Car Series readies for the eighteenth round of competition at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Missouri Saturday, August 27, 2016. In preparation, the stats have once again been compiled, and the series has surpassed expectations as the end of WAR's racing season approaches.

Sixty-six drivers have competed with WAR so far this season, with eight different winners - Clinton Boyles (3), Korey Weyant (3), Terry Babb (3), Chris Parkinson, Zach Daum, Justin Grant, Joe B. Miller, and James Lyerla. There have been 3 races cancelled due to rain.

Leading the "Heat Race Hero" standings are Clinton Boyles and Korey Weyant, with five wins each. Chris Parkinson follows with four wins and Mitch Wissmiller with three. Ryan Kitchen, Zach Daum, and Terry Babb each have two wins. Tucker Klaasmeyer, Joe B. Miller, Aaron Reutzel, Riley Kreisel, Danny Smith, Terry Babb, Derek Hagar, Rob Caho Jr., J.D. Black, James Scott, Carson Short, Mitchell Moore, Mario Clouser, and Katlyeen Leer all have one heat race win under their belts. Thanks to Scott Shuman out of Pennsylvania, the driver with the most heat race wins at the end of the year will be the 2016 Heat race Hero and collect a $400 cash prize at the WAR Banquet.

Scott Shuman also graciously added two opportunites for cash bonuses to the Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri September 22, 23, and 24. If a driver can win two of the three nights, he or she will take home a $300 cash bonus. If a driver sweeps all three nights at Lucas Oil Speedway, he or she wil take home a $500 cash bonus.

The BOSS Chassis WAR Sprint Car Series could not have found such success in their first year under new ownership without the help of its spectacular group of sponsors. Thank you BOSS Chassis, Rockwell Security, Hinchman Racewear, Wilwood Disc Brakes, FK Midwest, DMI, Indy Race Parts, Vahlco Race Wheels, Bell Helmets USA, Schure Built Suspension, EMI, Rod End Supply, and Engine Connection.
