ASCS Warrior Region Hits Lakeside with Lucas Oil ASCS Before joining ASCS Red River at Lucas Oil Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (May 4, 2016) The 2016 lineup for the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps rolls into Kansas and Missouri this week as the Warriors faces off against the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour at Lakeside Speedway on Thursday, May 5 in the McCarthy Auto Group KC Klassic presented by Racinboys.com before making their first appearance of the season at the Lucas Oil Speedway for the Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps Open Wheel Showdown.

The Warrior Region’s first meeting with the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network in 2016, the Missouri based region will see two weekends of competition at Lakeside Speedway, with the region returning on September 30, 2015.

The second pairing of the ASCS Warrior and Red River Regions, the two will square off at the Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, May 7.

Jonathan Cornell leads the driver standings with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps going into Thursday’s National Tour matchup. Looking at the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, the lead currently belongs to Brandon Hanks, who picked up his first Warrior Region score earlier this year, worth $5,000, at the Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia.

Thursday, May 5 at Lakeside Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps getting underway at 7:00 P.M. (CT). Tickets can be purchased in advance at http://www.racinboys.com or the day of the race. For more information on Lakeside Speedway, log onto http://www.lakesidespeedway.net.

Saturday, May 7 at Lucas Oil Speedway will see gates opening at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 7:30 P.M. (CT). The night will include the BOSS Wingless Auto Racing Sprint Cars and Lucas Oil POWRi Midgets.
