Hockett/McMillin Memorial Next for Lucas Oil ASCS

Bryan Hulbert - Tulsa, Oklahoma (September 23, 2012) After a weekend off, the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV prepares for one of the most heartfelt weekends of the season as the series makes its second stop of the year at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” for the 2nd annual Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial on Friday September 28th and Saturday September 29th.

Originally a single day event that began in 2006, the two day format was adopted for the inaugural Hockett/McMillin Memorial in 2011.

In the past seven events that have been hosted by the Lucas Oil Speedway, Jason Johnson and Tim Crawley have a pair of wins each. Tim Crawley found victory in 2010 before taking the prelim night of the inaugural Hockett/McMillin Memorial in 2011. Jason Johnson was victorious in 2008 and captured the championship feature of the 2011 Hockett/McMillin Memorial.

Brian Brown (2006), Shane Stewart (2009), and Cody Baker (2012) each have a single victory at Lucas Oil Speedway. The 2007 date was called due to rain.
