2009 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR REGISTRATION

If you are a Rookie this season at the Lucas Oil Speedway and wish to be considered for Rookie of the Year Honors in your class please register by emailing me or by filling out a Rookie Form at the driver registration building. 

You must be officially registered by Saturday September 5th to be in the running.  To be considered a Rookie individuals can have competed in more then 5 races in this class the year before.  Our Rookie of the Year is given one per class, when applicable, and is based not on the number over all years of racing but rather number of races in a certain class. 

To clarify this, if Jimmie Johnson were to come out and join our "A" Modified class next season.  Provided his performance warranted it, he could be our Rookie of the year in that class.  However if he had driven a dirt "A" Modified more then 5 times during his career whether at the Lucas Oil Speedway or not, he would not be eligible.
