THEY’RE BAAAACK! WEEKLY RACING RETURNS
After several special events and one rain out, what's been called the "Best Weekly Racin' in the Nation" returns to action this Saturday night at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
"We are ready to get back to racing," said Kevin Grevin, General Track Manager. "I know the racers and fans are as well."
June was labeled horse power month at the Lucas Oil Speedway and started with the Lucas Oil World Series of Road Racing Tour. Then the rain took the June 7th weekly event away. Next up was the O'Reilly Late Model Challenge followed this past weekend by the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League's Dixie Chopper Pro-Pulling Nationals.
The math is easy; it has been more then a month since all three weekly classes took to the track. This weekend it's the Low "E" Insulation Race Night will feature the Miller Lite ULMA Late Models, Pitt's Homes "A" Modifieds, and Transport Graphics Factory Stocks.
The Figure 8 race event for this night has been canceled. As you read in an earlier press release, we have cut most of the special 4th classes this season in an effort to complete the race night at fan and racer friendly times.
Finally, there are so many great fireworks displays in the area this season that track officials have decided not compete with them. All the fireworks at the Lucas Oil Speedway this Saturday night will be on the track! Don't miss it!
Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing to begin at 7 p.m. Open General Admission seating. Adults $12, Teens/Seniors/Military $8, Youth 11 and under are free.
