PITT’S HOME’S “A” MODS TRY TO STEAL THE SHOW FROM THE BANDITS
While the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits were heating up the track this past Monday at the Lucas Oil Speedway, the Pitt's Home's "A" Modifieds running in support were just as hot.
"I can't say it enough about them," said Kevin Greven, General Track Manager, "The Pitt's Homes "A" Mods have been amazing all season long and tonight was no exception."
Over 30 Modifieds rolled through the back gate for a special Monday Night appearance. When the dust cleared it was Eric Turner, Tony Jackson Jr. and points leader Jamie Ragland standing in the AAA Winner's Circle, respectively.
Turner was out front early and no one had anything for 99t car tonight, but in his wake, things got wild. Evan Hubert spent the first half of the race chasing Turner and the two distanced themselves from a field racing two and three wide.
However, after a restart just past mid race, the battle out back really heated up. Jason Bodenhamer racing for position on Hubert made contact sending Hubert around between turns 1 and 2 and sending both drivers to rear of the field.
Ragland 15R is one of our hard charger for the night as he simply tore his way through the pack for another top three finish. Bodenhammer, fought all the way back for a top 10. Young gun Kelby Taylor 19T, earned his first top 10 finish in 7th.
Don't miss the Pitt's Homes "A" Mods back in action this Saturday along with the Miller Lite ULMA Late Models and Transport Graphics Factory Stocks. It's Coca-Cola Night at the Speedway presented by Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper Bottlers of Bolivar, MO.
